MIND-BODY INTEGRATION
SEMINAR
Taiko Drumming,
Japanese
Mind-Body Practices&Meditation
WORKSHOP 2026.07.19

In everyday life, we rarely use the body at full power. A taiko drum will not break, however hard you strike
it — it receives everything you give. So you can safely let go of control. Stop thinking, and simply strike.
And when you have struck with everything you have, we breathe together — toward one shared resonance.

EXPANDING POSSIBILITY

When you stop controlling and strike with full force, strength that usually lies dormant comes to the surface. This is not stress relief — it is an
experience that expands what you are capable of. And you will verify it in your own body: how your strike changes, before and after you learn.

01— ATTUNE

Learn breathing, seated stillness, and
traditional Japanese body mechanics

02 — STRIKE

Strike with full force — and feel how you
change, before and after

03 — RESONATE

Synchronize with the whole group and
become one resonance
